Welcome to another day of relaxation, calm and creating inner stillness the Hockwold Hall Way. What better place to awaken the senses and explore Nature through meditation than in this historic haven of woodlands and secluded gardens? Be inspired to take another look at the senses we take for granted and revitalise your use of them. See and hear with renewed enjoyment, awareness and vitality; immerse yourself in the wonderful sights and sounds of this delightful country house and gardens.
Your day will begin with a warm Hockwold welcome as always leading you gently into practising techniques for understanding and working with mindfulness in hearing, sight and touch. Our relationship with everyday objects can reveal how we carry tensions in the body and mind and we will be working in relation to things/objects around us to release as many of those tensions as we can. All techniques are taught seated in a chair or standing so no difficult postures to worry about.
Your day will draw to a close in the same relaxed and friendly way it began.
Nurture yourself and be inspired by Nature in this wonderful setting.
