Summer retreat – meditations for relaxation
The theme of this retreat will be meditations for relaxation. On this course you will learn and gain experience of special breathing meditation practices that help disengage the mind from the busyness of everyday life and create a special feeling of peace.
When the mind is peaceful, we naturally feel happy, contented and relaxed – and this has a positive influence of everything that we think, say and do.
Green Acres Chiltern – Woodland Hall
The Meditation and mindfulness retreat takes place in the Woodland Hall at GreenAcres Chiltern, near Beaconsfield. The venue is peaceful, comfortable, modern and spacious with wonderful views. During the break, light refreshments are served and there is the opportunity to ask questions. There will be time to browse the small bookshop, relax or enjoy a peaceful walk in the lovely mature woodland.
The retreat runs from 10.30am to 1.15pm enabling participants to relax and enjoy the rest of the day.
Treat yourself to a real break both physically and mentally and return home feeling refreshed and relaxed.
Retreat teacher – The summer meditation and mindfulness retreat will be taught by our Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Nyingpo who has been teaching and practising meditation for over 20 years.
