NETWORKING EVENT“How Health and Social Care is Changing; Opportunities and Challenges”
Camden Community Education Provider Network (CEPN) cordially invites you to 2017-18 Networking Event. At this event you will hear about the national, regional and local developments, particularly in relation to how health and social care is changing and the opportunities and challenges these changes bring. CEPNs are networks that coordinates education and training for the health and social care workforce through an integrated approach, in order to respond to the changing health and care needs of the population, and to improve outcomes for patients and service users.
The event is open to all health and social care workforce in Camden, including those working inGeneral Practice, Care Homes, Voluntary and Community Sector, Secondary Care, Local Authority, Community Pharmacy, Dentistry, Optometry.

1st GROUP : New Roles In Primary Care Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about and discuss new roles in primary care, including practice based pharmacists, physician associates, medical assistants and nursing associates, as well as exploring how these new roles could impact on primary care.
2nd GROUP : Employement Models This group discussion will focus on new employment models in health and social care, in order to respond to current recruitment and retention challenges, considering the need for different professional groups to be able work across different health and social care organisations and areas.
3rd GROUP : Health and Social Care Integration Delegates attending this group discussion will have an opportunity to discuss how the development of Neighbourhoods (CHINs) could support health and social care integration and how CEPN could support this.
4th GROUP : Helping shape the evolution of CEPN – what do you want it to do for you? Camden CEPN has been responding to both priorities identified by the network itself, and the local and regional expectations including the Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP). Delegates attending this group will discuss how CEPN should evolve to better respond to STP, whilst continuing to prioritise local needs.
